AWANA Clubs

AWANA is an International, non-denominational, Bible-centered youth organization that provides weekly clubs and programs (during the school year) for three-year olds through high school. The name, AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed), is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15, the program’s key verse. The Awana night includes unique and exciting games around the Awana circle, a time of reciting memorized Bible verses, and a time of teaching from the Bible that promotes good character. Clubbers compete for points as members of one of four teams in all of these activities. They earn awards and prizes as they win races and complete sections in the Bible memory books.

Junior Church
Junior Church is exactly what it says – Church for the junior members of our congregation. While children are always welcome to stay for the entire service with their parents, we encourage them to attend our junior church where they will learn from the Bible on a level geared for their age. The children and teachers join with the rest of the congregation for the first fifteen minutes of the morning worship service starting at 10:00am each Sunday. Then they leave for their classes where they may sing choruses, pray and learn memory verses, learn from the Bible, and depending on the age group, color pictures and do craftwork.
